McMillan-Boone
Kristin McMillan and David Boone, along with their families, are
happy to announce their engagement.
Their parents are Don & Kelly McMillan of Spencer, WV, and Karl & Sharon
Boone of Buckhannon, WV.
Kristin is a 2004 graduate of Roane
County
High School and received a Bachelor of
Arts Degree in Education from Fairmont
State
University
in Fairmont, WV, in 2008.
She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Reading
Education at Fairmont State
and plans to work with the Marion County Board of Education in
the fall.
Her paternal grandparents are Bill & Mary McMillan of
Montclair, CA. Her maternal grandparents are Clay and Zola
Miller of Spencer, WV.
David is a 2002 graduate of
Buckhannon-Upshur High School in Buckhannon,
WV, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Behavioral Science with a concentration on Criminal Justice from
Glenville State College in
Glenville,
WV, in 2006.
He received his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from
Fairmont State University
in Fairmont, WV, in 2008.
He is employed with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Kristin and David met while attending a Baptist Campus
Ministries (BCM) event at Fairmont.
A
January 2009 wedding is being planned.
